More than expected!

Had a few pairs of Rad 8 glasses and found them just as good as more expensive glasses I have had over the years.
I recently had a pair fall out of my pocket on a ride and thought I lost them but found them on way back, but with scratched lenses.
Thought that was another pair of destroyed glasses, but remembered Rad8 do replacement lenses so went online and ordered some new ones, Rad8 had a sale on at the time but the lenses were not discounted.
I was stoked to open my delivery to find that Rad8 had sent me a complete new set of glasses and a personal note explaining that seeing as a new pair were not much more in their sale I could have them and keep the frames as spares.
Thank you very much Rad8 and I will certainly be telling any one who listens what great service that is, very much appreciated.
PS I will shortly be ordering a new lens replacements for my spare frames!

I've had these with bi-focal prescription lenses for a few weeks now, and I am very pleased with them indeed! These have been the glasses I've needed for quite some time as I don't have to carry a pair of reading glasses whilst out riding. Previously I was using a pair of vari-focal sunglasses, but often found them too dark for shady areas and grey days, and their polarised lenses made reading a phone somewhat annoying at times so I would always need to carry a pair of reading glasses as well. No longer! For my eyes they could be a bit darker at maximum tint, but are otherwise flawless. Great service from the lovely folk at Rad8 - 10/10!

I've just got back from my first mountain bike ride wearing a varifocal pair of Rad8 504's with transition lenses. I'm very pleased with them. I just got on with riding and they just got on with letting me see where I was going. Service from Rad8 was good, and the turnaround from Optilabs was quicker than expected. although I had to tell them I was expecting a postal delivery, rather than a trip to Croydon to collect. A small snag, and quickly resolved. Many thanks. Aidan

TBH I should have bought these years ago... Having used daily displosable contact lenses with normal non-prescription cycling glasses for years these are a bit of a revelation to use, especially as mine are variofocals rather than just a distance prescription. I'm using these for mountain, gravel and road cycling and variofocal setup is pretty much spot on: I can read my garmin and see close up,mid, and distance trails very clearly now and the standard of the lenses seem to be better than my everyday glasses. The transition tinting works well in pretty much all lighting conditions both during day and night. My only initial worry was fogging but this seems to clear very quickly so isnt really an issue (tested on some big climbs/descents at Afan). The design is nicely understated too: they are more like "normal" sunglasses but with enough wrap-around to give decent protection to my eyes from mud/dust etc. and the frame fit is very comfortable and doesnt move around. Overall: Excellent.
